Oriflame unveils its 2025 Sustainability Report: Scaling progress across products, people and planet

Stockholm, Sweden, 29 May 2026:
Oriflame today published its 2025 Sustainability Report, highlighting a year of continued progress in advancing responsible product innovation, reducing environmental impact, and strengthening its global community.

In 2025, Oriflame further embedded sustainability practices across its business while continuing to deliver high-quality beauty products that meet evolving consumer expectations.

The company maintained its commitment to responsible formulation, ensuring that all newly launched rinse-off products are biodegradable*, while expanding its portfolio to more than 200 vegan products

Significant progress was also made in packaging, with Oriflame using over 600 tonnes of recycled materials, helping to avoid 659 tonnes of CO emissions, alongside the continued rollout of refill solutions and smarter packaging designs to reduce plastic use.

Anna Malmhake, CEO and President of Oriflame, said:
“In 2025, we have taken important steps to further integrate sustainability into how we innovate, operate and grow. From advancing biodegradable formulations and circular packaging to strengthening responsible sourcing, our focus is on making tangible progress where it matters most; delivering products that meet high standards while reducing our environmental impact.”

Oriflame’s climate efforts were once again recognised externally, with the company named a European Climate Leader by the Financial Times and Statista for the fifth consecutive year

The company’s social contribution remains a cornerstone of its sustainability approach. Over the past five years, Oriflame has distributed €1 billion in bonuses and recognition to its global community of Beauty Entrepreneurs, supporting income opportunities and economic empowerment across more than 60 countries.

The company also continued to operate on 100% renewable electricity across all owned manufacturing sites, warehouses and offices, through renewable electricity sourcing and renewable energy certificates.

In parallel, Oriflame strengthened its responsible business practices, achieving its target of having 97% of first-tier suppliers assessed through EcoVadis or equivalent sustainability evaluations, and continuing partnerships to address responsible sourcing challenges in key raw materials.

Additional initiatives in 2025 included community-based environmental programmes such as reforestation efforts, as well as internal investments in leadership development to build capabilities and support long-term growth.

Formulation and Packaging

Our product formulations have an environmental impact during production, as well as during and following consumer usage. If not responsibly formulated, they may have a long-term impact on people and ecosystems both up and downstream in our value chain. This is why we need to take the right decisions regarding which ingredients we select as part of the formulation development.

Our product packaging has an environmental impact, both during production and disposal, and can contribute to the pollution of land and waterbodies downstream in our value chain, affecting ecosystems and local communities, including their human rights.
