Sustainability report 2022

Oriflame’s Sustainability report for the year 2022 was published on Friday, April 21. In this document we summarise the sustainability initiatives and projects Oriflame undertook in our 55th anniversary year, celebrate our achievements and highlight areas where we need to grow. As always, our Sustainability strategy is divided into three major areas: Respect for NatureOpportunity for Brand Partners and, last but not the least, Passion for People.

In 2022 Oriflame continued to make our products more sustainable by coming up with better formulations and we launched and relaunched ranges with improved sustainability direction. Some examples are Waunt, THE ONE Make-up Brushes, Tender Care Natural Multi-Purpose Balm, Feminelle Refill, and Love Nature all featuring different sustainability traits such as natural-origin ingredients, third party certifications, packaging-design reducing plastic or packaging content containing recycled glass or plastic.

Formulation and Packaging

Our product formulations have an environmental impact during production, as well as during and following consumer usage. If not responsibly formulated, they may have a long-term impact on people and ecosystems both up and downstream in our value chain. This is why we need to take the right decisions regarding which ingredients we select as part of the formulation development.

Our product packaging has an environmental impact, both during production and disposal, and can contribute to the pollution of land and waterbodies downstream in our value chain, affecting ecosystems and local communities, including their human rights.
