Oriflame Products Poland (OPP), now named Cetes Cosmetics Poland (CCP), began the Ecovadis journey in 2017 and, in demonstration of strong sustainability focus and management, achieved an impressive GOLD medal (top 5% across all companies assessed).
Despite the Ecovadis requirements growing each year, we maintained our Gold medal through continued progress and transparent reporting.
The annual ISO certification process also encouraged us to further develop across many areas. Examples include Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), human rights, health and safety, waste management, systemisation of internal procedures, and ensuring environmental awareness across the CCP team.
However, in line with the Oriflame values of “Togetherness, Spirit and Passion” we wanted to push ourselves further and increase our score.
The entire CCP team focussed on a number of improvements, with support from Oriflame Global Sustainability team.
These included updating CCP policies and goals (especially in the human rights and environmental areas), environmental and ethics training for the full team, referring specifically to CCP in the Oriflame Group Sustainability and Investor Reports.
In parallel SMETA audits, registering on the SEDEX platform, were successfully actioned.
This significant effort and drive resulted in being awarded a PLATINUM Medal in September 2024.
This means we are in the top 1% of all cross industry companies rated by Ecovadis in the previous 12 months. What an amazing achievement and huge congratulations to all involved.
Note: Oriflame utilises the Ecovadis assessment across our direct spend suppliers.
By the end of 2023, 96% of our global direct (first tier) external spend were covered with a valid EcoVadis scorecard with a score of 45+.
