Jonas & Robert of Oriflame – An Oriflame Book in a new Podcast format

Jonas & Robert of Oriflame – An Oriflame Book in a new Podcast format

Oriflame is proud to announce the release of “Jonas & Robert of Oriflame”– a new audiobook in a format of podcast. Based on the work of Swedish journalist Björn Edsta which was published in 2008 by Ekerlids publishing house, this podcast covers 40 years of Oriflame history – from its foundation by Jonas and Robert af Jochnick to the modern era.

The audiobook follows publication by describing the humble origins of our company, what Beauty by Sweden means, and how hard it is to create your own business – and to keep it afloat. It goes through ups and downs Jonas and Robert experienced, talks about their responsibilities and dreams, their “never-give-up” attitude and introduces the readers worldwide to our business opportunity as well as our culture and values. The podcast also contains exclusive personal recollections from Robert af Jochnick himself – and for many Beauty enthusiast in the world it’s a unique opportunity to listen to his voice and get insights into Oriflame history.

We decided to reintroduce Björn Edsta’s book in a new format this year to honour Jonas & Robert’s accomplishments, pay tribute to their work and reignite our culture.

“Jonas & Robert of Oriflame” is available on every major sound-streaming platform, including Spotify, Soundcloud, Apple Podcast, Google Podcast, Deezer, and many more. New episodes of the podcast are published every Monday and Thursday.

Formulation and Packaging

Our product formulations have an environmental impact during production, as well as during and following consumer usage. If not responsibly formulated, they may have a long-term impact on people and ecosystems both up and downstream in our value chain. This is why we need to take the right decisions regarding which ingredients we select as part of the formulation development.

Our product packaging has an environmental impact, both during production and disposal, and can contribute to the pollution of land and waterbodies downstream in our value chain, affecting ecosystems and local communities, including their human rights.
