Recognised as a Climate Leader in Europe for the fourth year in a row!

In 2024, The Financial Times and Statista recognised us as a Climate Leader in Europe for the fourth year in a row! This endorsement acknowledges our strong efforts in reducing core greenhouse gas emissions, as well as our transparency and high ratings in climate-related reporting.

100% Biodegradable Rinse-Off Products

In 2024, we achieved our biodegradability goal – 100% of all the rinse-off products we launched were formulated to be biodegradable.*

* To validate the biodegradability of our rinse-off products, we require that at least 90% of carbon-based ingredients are biodegradable in line with OECD guidelines or similar

Science-Based Targets Achieved

In 2024, we achieved our science-based targets* by reducing our absolute greenhouse gas emissions by 59% in Scope 1 and 2** and our relative GHG emissions by 23% in Scope 3*** from a 2019 base year. This reflects our efforts through a range of initiatives, including increasing recycled content in packaging and lowering downstream transportation emissions.

575 Tonnes of Recycled Material Used

In 2024, we used more than 575 tonnes of recycled plastic, glass and metal in the packaging of products we sold. This reduced the volume of virgin materials we put on the market and lowered our carbon emissions by 602 tonnes.

Expanding Our Vegan-Certified Portfolio

We have more than 150 vegan-certified products across our portfolio. They do not contain any animal products, by-products or derivatives, and are not subjected to animal testing. In 2024, we launched our Wellosophy skincare range–all products in the range are certified with The Vegan SocietyTM.

Formulation and Packaging

Our product formulations have an environmental impact during production, as well as during and following consumer usage. If not responsibly formulated, they may have a long-term impact on people and ecosystems both up and downstream in our value chain. This is why we need to take the right decisions regarding which ingredients we select as part of the formulation development.

Our product packaging has an environmental impact, both during production and disposal, and can contribute to the pollution of land and waterbodies downstream in our value chain, affecting ecosystems and local communities, including their human rights.
